The DaVinci IQ2 is the next installment in the IQ lines for Davinci and they have made great improvements over the original IQ vaporizer in every way possible. The device kept much of its original design look and feel. Davinci features a new dosing system that is easy to use with the buttons on the side. With the IQ2 you are able to customize the temperature and increase the airflow due to the new mouthpiece, but also allowing you to track and report your dose per session through the smartphone app.

Controlled Dosing

Davinci IQ2 features a dosage pad and ceramic extract disc for both dry herb and solid extracts such as wax or dab. The dry herb pad will allow you to fit 0.3gr to 0.5gr of dry herbs if you are using solid extract you will be able to fit 0.5gr.

Quick burn with a satisfying vapor

The top is where the battery, flavor chamber, and small pick are located. There is a zirconia pearl located at the bottom where the herb goes into that can affect the size of the oven. On the same side, there is a small adjustable air dial that allows you to have adjustable airflow through the mouthpiece. There are 5 levels to choose from, the more open it is the less dense the vapor will be, while the more closed it is the denser the vapor will be. You will be able to see the temperature setting on the front LED lights and change it on the side buttons.

Battery

Using a removable 18650 battery, you can also charge it using the micro USB charger. Taking 6 hours from a completely dead battery to a full battery, unless the external charger is used. You can check on your battery life by pressing the up and down button together. As well as when your vaporizer reaches 10% battery life left it will vibrate to let you know.

Cleaning

All parts that come in contact with vapor should be cleaned regularly. To clean soak the mouthpiece and flavor chamber in isopropyl alcohol and rinse with water. Clean all other parts with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol.

How to use

Click the power button five times to unlock and activate the device and pick one of the smart paths. Grind the herb finely and pack it in slightly. Take a slow and long draw rather than a hard rip to maximize vapor output and extraction.

– Smart path mode

With preset temperatures that gradually increase 20 degrees over an 8-minute session. You can switch between smart paths by pressing the up or down buttons while in that mode. The different paths are Flavor with the lowest temperature, Mind which is one of the middle stages, Body which is the second middle stage, and finally, Rest at the highest temperature settings.

– Precision mode

To switch from Smart mode to Precision mode, click the control button once to show the temperature, from there quickly adjust using the arrows to the preferred temperature. This mode is perfect for temperature control based on your needs giving you the best vaping experience.

– Boost mode

To boost the IQ2 to the top temperature of 430F (210C), press and hold the control button when in use. When you let go of the button it will enter standby to save the herb inside and battery life.  To exit the boost mode click either the up or down arrow to get to the previous temperature.

 Stealth mode

Allows you to manage the LED brightness on the display, to do so click the control button and the up button simultaneously.

Temperature

250F to 430F or 121C to 221C with the heat up time being less than one minute.
